Many thanks go to our sponsors for this years race.
Launceston Road Runners hosted another successful Treggy 7 road race on Sunday 6th September 2015, thank you everyone who took part in making the race a great success. The sun shone as over 360 runners assembled in Launceston town square to the sound of a local Piper for the off. The runners were cheered on by locals all along the route, with children giving out sweets and holding flags - a fantastic atmosphere.
Launceston Road Runners’ very own runner, Dan Rodgers, won the race for the third year running, in an amazing time of 37 minutes 24 seconds. LRR are incredibly proud of Dan and all 34 members of their club running the Treggy 7. Click here for previous years results
The club would like to congratulate all runners taking part in the race – many travelled long distances to participate and the club have received very positive feedback from so many on the organisation of the event. Special mention must go to the outstanding team of Marshalls who cheered on the runners at points along the route. One experienced runner contacted the Club to say ”many thanks for today, probably one of the best, friendliest, well-marshalled races I have ever raced at”.
Launceston Road Runners would like to thank Kevin and Vin Marshall as Race Directors, for all the huge commitment of their time and efforts that have made the 2015 Treggy 7 the best ever! Thanks also go to the sponsors of this year’s race, Mansbridge & Balment, Specsavers, No 8 and Ambrosia – your support is much appreciated. “
